Summer Love

Summer Love by EfFaye on Polyvore.com

I Stumbled upon a few new sites today that became instantly contagious. These three outfits were my top favorites and had to share them with you. After work today I have a shopping trip planned and really didn't know what to look for. But these past few hours have given some new inspiration to doll up my wardrobe.

Empowerment Bracelet

This morning before work my mom was raving about this necklace that she wanted that a lady celebrity was endorsing. She was gabbing about how it was through Avon for Domestic Violence. Well she was so excited she wanted to show me online what they looked like and who the lady was. Turns out it's Reese Witherspoon. The proceeds from the jewelry will go to the very first AVON Empowerment Foundation. The new foundation is set up to fund projects for women for a future without limitations. There is also a bracelet. Both of these pieces are a symbol of unity among women. As she ranted I went to get ready and while I was curling my hair she traughts in with a tape measure and is like I need to know what size you are I want to get a bracelet for you and Jill. As you can see there absolutely adorable. My mom is a big advocate for charities, but I never knew her support on domestic violence. She also purchased herself the necklace. I was kind of in shock she wanted to get them for my sister and I. But hey its something new and represents something positive. You know another great thing about these pieces is they are not expensive either. The necklace is $5 and the Bracelets are $3. Perfect price to do a good deed. Oh! I almost forgot there is also a key chain and one of those rubber bracelets as well.

Give me something new

Today I became displaced, almost every magazine and blog that is at the top of lists are completely artificial there is nothing new or inspiring in them. It is all straight from US WEEKLY or INTOUCH. I am so bored with those looks. They are cute at first (I admit) but than its plastered everywhere on almost everyone. That my friend becomes disappointing. No longer is it lasting. Even some of pictures that are taken and posted from bloggers themselves are boring. Not that i haven't done it, but taking pictures of the feet turned in just gives me a headache now. I am no fashionista, I do not have a degree in fashion, and I am sure that the latest trends are gaining alot of income. But come on lets find something NEW for the so called "trends". There are some many other amazing people with wonderful taste that's style should be noticed.
